Who knew snowmen had legs?! These super cheerful marhsmallow snowmen are the perfect addition to any North Pole Breakfast, Hot Chocolate Station, children’s Christmas party, or Tuesday evening!
They are super easy to make and look so cute. Get the kids involved too.
Use whatever size of marshmallow you like to create the snowmen. We like the larger toasting ones as it’s easier to fit everything on the face. If you want to dunk them in your hot chocolate you may before to use smaller ones and just use coloured writing icing to decorate.
Mikado sticks work brilliantly as arms … and legs But if you like the salty-sweet combination then pretzel sticks are a great alternative.

Marshmallow Snowmen
Equipment
- 12 large white marshmallows
- 20 chocolate drops dark or milk
- 4 orange Smarties
- 8 pretzel or Mikado sticks
- 1 tube of edible glue
Instructions
- Put a blob of edible glue at the top and bottom ends of one marshmallow. Then stick the other two marshmallows, one to each end. This forms the shape of the snowman.
- Snap each pretzel or Mikado stick in half. Insert two halves into the end of the bottom marshmallow to form the legs, and two into the sides of the middle marshmallow to form arms.
- Use spots of edible glue to add two chocolate drop eyes, three chocolate drop buttons and an orange Smartie nose.
- Leave to set whilst you repeat for the other snowmen.
