What a location!
Positioned part way along York’s most famous street, The Nutcracker Christmas Shop in York is most certainly on the tourist trail!
One of two Christmas shops in York, this store is right next door to The Shop That Must Not Be Named (and before you ask, that is it’s real name, not us being coy) in the street that inspired Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley.
Sister store to the Nutcracker Christmas Shop in Stratford, this shop under the watchful eye of the Nutcrackers’ family-friend Lawrence.
Exploring inside The Nutcracker Christmas Shop York
The entrance to the shop is ‘guarded’ by two photogenic red and green nutcrackers which certainly catch the eye as you stroll along the path.
Spread over two levels, there are plenty of gorgeous ornaments to explore, some even tucked into a traditional red phone box.
